Computer Problems

If you are receiving one of the following errors, your corporate or personal firewall is blocking the streaming video.

Windows Media Player: "Can't Play Items in Playlist"

Click here to view the Firewall Policies necessary to allow streaming video to be accessed. You may need to forward this URL to your Network Administration/IT Department to have them make the necessary changes.

If you cannot view and hear the webcast, first confirm that your computer meets ALL of the system requirements at right. Even if an earlier test was successful, you need ALL of the requirements at right to view the LIVE webcast.

If your computer freezes:

• Restart your computer and log back in.

If the video stalls:

• Click on the PAUSE button and then click on the PLAY button.
• Then click the link for the resizable player.

If the video is out of synch:

• Click on the STOP button and then click on the PLAY button.

If there's no video or audio:

• Wait a minute. Your computer can take up to a minute to begin playing.
• If problems arise on the day of the live webcast for which you are registered, test your set up on the Webcast Test Page. If you can view and hear the test video, check the program page again and if it’s not functioning, call ALI-ABA at 1-800-CLE-NEWS and ask for webcast support.
• Confirm again that your computer meets the system requirements at right and then call your network Administrator. 200-256Kbps of dedicated bandwidth is required for your computer connection.

If you can view and hear the video on the Webcast Test Page AND your computer meets ALL of the system requirements below, you should be able to view the live webcast. If not, you may need to contact your network administrator to change your configuration.
